Updated: Oct 6, 2022

The iconic celebrity is set to stop by Lansing's 420 Music Festival and LIV Cannabis

LANSING - Legendary boxer and personality Mike Tyson is coming to the capital city. According to GlobeNewsWire, Tyson is introducing a strand of marijuana he has helped cultivate in partnership Common Citizen, a cannabis company based in Marshall, MI. The strands are aptly named "Knockout OG" and "Pound For Pound Cake", both clever plays on the former World Heavyweight Championship career of Tyson. They'll be grown at Common Citizens cultivation farm in Marshall, MI and sold locally at LIV Cannabis Co.

Tyson is set to appear in the newly opened LIV Cannabis Co., located at 6283 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., on April 23rd. After celebrating the new partnership at the dispensary, Tyson will finish his day in Lansing by announcing the musical acts at CEP's 420 Music Festival. He'll be among national stars like rappers Too $hort and Currensy, and festival host Dreka Gates at Adado Riverfront Park for the 2nd annual music fest that celebrates marijuana and Hip-Hop - two things Mike Tyson is known to enjoy.
