The Chef Is Opening Her First Restaurant In Kentwood, MI

Micky’s Food has long been a Lansing staple. The capital city has licked their fingers clean of lambchop grease and lobster tail butter for years; and of course Micky has been the maker of the mess. You won’t find a negative review from any full-belly customer of hers, and most likely, they’ve been back multiple times.
She’s always leveled up in her culinary career and is now primed to open her first restaurant. Micky is now based in Grand Rapids and is bringing her soul touch to a historically hungry community. Kentwood is suburb of Grand Rapids and is lucky enough to be the pioneer city for Micky’s Food restaurants. Read the official press release from Micky’s Food on their Facebook:

Lansing mi & Detroit mi will be the next two locations

It's exciting on multiple levels that a Lansing staple has raised the bar and took a giant leap in her culinary career. She has been, and continues to be, black excellence in the kitchen and in her operations. The restaurant is nearing blueprint completion and Micky is full-engines ahead toward her next big goal of a storefront! Her cooking speaks for itself; it is now in the hands of Kentwood residents, and all us Michiganders, to support and show up!
