Keeping You In The Know About New Businesses Around The State.
MICHIGAN - New Businesses are always sprouting in Michigan. No matter the size, they bring new energy to communities and an economic impact that wasn't there before. New businesses are the backbone of their community, and Next Up Michigan loves to highlight them.
This week in New Businesses is Lorin Cumberbatch and her award-winning spa 'SkinStudio 211'. The spa has been Lansing's favorite place for waxes, facials, and other spa services since it opened - and now Lorin is taking another step in providing "top of the town" services. On October 13th, SkinStudio 211 opens it doors on the campus of Michigan State University. It's a bold move for the serial-entrepreneur who has also held a location in New York City.
The opening of Skin Studio 211 is historic - it's set to become the first black-owned spa in East Lansing, the proud home to Michigan State University. College kids and active East Lansing residents should mean a great flow of business through the spa's doors, and another success story for Lorin.
The grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a live DJ, a meet-the-team segment, and tours around the facility. Find details of the even below:
